TrustMark reappoints the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman for a second term.

The Dispute Resolution Ombudsman (DRO) is delighted to have been reappointed for a second term by TrustMark, the home improvement industry’s only Government endorsed quality scheme.

Dispute Resolution Ombudsman (which also operates the Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman) has unparalleled expertise and experience in resolving home improvement disputes.

TrustMark’s decision to reappoint the Ombudsman will ensure that the users of its scheme will continue to have access to the gold standard in dispute resolution.

The TrustMark scheme covers work consumers have carried out in or around their home, licensing and auditing over 15,000 registered businesses covering 156 service types across the home improvement, building and eco sectors.

With home improvements and maintenance projects, being both a financial as well as an emotional investment it’s encouraging to see so many organisations from large corporations to single tradespeople seeing the value of offering the services of an Ombudsman to their consumers.

Kevin Grix, Chief Executive & Chief Ombudsman at Dispute Resolution Ombudsman • Rail Ombudsman • Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman said “It is a critical time for consumer protection in the home improvement sector and we are thrilled that TrustMark have elected to reappoint the Ombudsman for a second consecutive term. Ombudsman schemes continue to be the gold standard in dispute resolution and I am proud that our experience and expertise has been recognised by TrustMark.”
