Frequently Asked Questions

How can we help you?

FAQ Index

What sort of complaints can we look at?

Our service covers most purchases and services from businesses registered with us. You may come to us with any complaint about one of these if you are unable to resolve it with them directly.

We will review your complaint and decide if it’s something we can look into ourselves, or if it’s something which needs to be dealt with by another organisation.

Our role is to look into the quality of service or products provided based on the commitments a business has made to you, and your consumer rights.

Our Code of Practice places an onus on a business who is a member of our scheme to promote good customer service and professionalism amongst staff and encourage them to meet all service requests with courtesy and efficiency. We take customer service very seriously and we will always report your comments to the business to help them improve their own customer services. Whilst we may ask the business to offer a goodwill gesture to recognise the issues which you have experienced, we are unlikely to award compensation for customer service issues alone.
